French pedicure tips

If in the previous entry, we discussed about some tips for pedicure and toenails care, here in this entry we will still talk about some nail care tips. But this time we will specifically talk about french pedicure and the tips to do french pedicure at home. Here is what I’ve read from the website.
“Learn how to get the perfect salon-styled pedicure without paying a ton.
  • Soak feet in hot water (not too hot!) with epsom salts which soften feet.
  • Use a pumice stone to rub off rough spots to make feet nice and soft.
  • Use a cuticle trimmer to cut off dead skin around toe nails. Be careful not to cut too deep; you're just cutting off the dead skin!
  • Rise feet and apply a rich lotion to feet and give it a few minutes to soak in.
  • Use a cotton ball with nail polish remover to remove lotion and/or nail polish from toenails.
  • Use a white nail polish and paint the tips of each toe nail. Let dry and apply a second coat so that the white doesn't look splotchy. Don't worry if it looks messy, youll fix it in the next step!
  • Take a make-up concealer brush and dip it in preferably 100% acetone. Remove excess acetone on a paper towel.
  • Use the brush, and remove excess white nail polish until you create a thin, straight line. You will have to take it slow and be carefull not to make it crooked but eventually youll be a pro!”

Apart from that, I also have read some tips for conditioning your beautiful nails. May be you can try this tips to get more beautiful nails and hands. “Here are some useful tips for conditioning your beautiful nails.

  • Brittle and splitting nails are usually caused by excessive dryness, which increases with aging and is exacerbated by exposure to detergents and chemicals. Soaking the fingers in water and then applying a moisturizing hand cream or a conditioner formulated for nails can restore lost moisture and also prevent moisture loss.
  • Application of nail hardeners may also help seal in moisture and provide hard surface over the nails.Dermatologists usually recommend protein hardeners or products that contain nylon rather than that ones made with formaldehyde, which causes reactions in certain people.
  • Contrary to some promotional claims, however protein and other substances applied to the surfaces do not sink into or "feed" the nails.

Tips: Do not use cheap nail conditioners ,these can cause serious irritations and allergies”
